Descrizione Italiano :Da quando ha sedici anni, Nimmi desidera rivedere sua madre. Nonostante abbia un padre affettuoso ma iperprotettivo e una relazione appena iniziata, desidera ardentemente recarsi in Sri Lanka per confrontarsi con la madre che si è rifiutata di lasciare l’isola durante una guerra, nemmeno per il bene di Nimmi. Suo padre vi torna per la prima volta come reporter in missione, ma si rifiuta di portarla con sé, considerando lo Sri Lanka troppo pericoloso. Poi, però, la madre di Nimmi le appare in sogno, chiedendole di andare a cercarla, e Nimmi sa che deve andare. Suo padre è furioso quando la vede al ritiro bagagli, ma ormai è troppo tardi e, seppur riluttante, accetta di aiutare Nimmi a mettersi in contatto con sua madre. Tuttavia, il giorno dopo Natale, un disastro colpisce l’isola e uno tsunami la devasta. Riuscirà Nimmi, bloccata tra la devastazione e la distruzione, a ricongiungersi con sua madre? Nel corso del suo viaggio, Nimmi potrebbe scoprire che la persona di cui aveva più bisogno era se stessa.
